What Our Clients Say

Glen and his team were fantastic, can't praise them highly enough, the only drawback is now the whole family is vying for the living space that was built for 1!

Thanks so much for all your hard work, will definitely use these guys again if we need anything else Tracy, Alaina and Adam

Amazing experience working alongside Glen from Stevenson Construction. From first consultation understanding proof of concept and design, through to the finished product, they are extremely professional, diligent and produce a high quality finish. The best part is they communicate and ensure you are up to date with where they are at with your job so there are no surprises and they do what they say they'll do.

We have had Stevenson Construction do multiple projects for us now from internal renovations including two bathrooms. A complete exterior double story deck and structure renovation and a 3 - town house development including the civil works. Every time they were easy to deal with, had good advice, value for money and no scary invoice surprises. All quality work that we haven't had any defects on, which is not usually the case elsewhere. Highly recommend.

David Eyers

We entrusted Glen and his excellent team with two major projects for us - first a redesign and reno of two bathrooms, then a full rethink and reno of our ground floor, both done in a way we were still able to live in the house. A delight to work with, took the time to really understand our needs, great communicators on the project, gave creative ideas to ensure we optimise our space, delivered high quality, made sure everything is done absolutely right, was reliable and kept to schedule. Highly, highly recommended!

From a sketch plan on a scrap of paper to completion, Glen is the go to builder. His help at every stage of my build was seamless. I can't speak highly enough of Glen & his team.

Stevenson Construction has completed three projects for my partner and me and is about to commence a fourth.

We came across Glen Stevenson when he was building a self-contained residence on a property opposite the back of our garage. I was impressed by the workmanship of Glen’s subcontractors and equally as impressed by his supervision and management of the works.

I am retired from 50+ years in the commercial construction industry and not used to his level of professionalism in domestic building. Glen rebuilt a pop up clerestory structure on the roof of our town house. This was followed by the renovation of the ground floor of our town house, including kitchen and powder room, double glazing to windows and doors and hydronic heating, during the Covid lockdown. Glen recently upgraded the upper level of our townhouse, including bathrooms and bedrooms and waterproofing and tiling to a balcony, prior to the sale of the property.

Glen provided exceptional service and quality of work, great communication and budget management. He is straight forward, honest and responsible and a very experienced builder.

I am looking forward to Glen’s working with us on renovations to our recently purchased property.

Working with Glen and his team was a stress free experience. The finished renovation (new double garage and new much larger kitchen) ended up being even better than we expected. We highly recommend Stevenson Construction. 🤗 Many thanks … M & T

We recently employed the services of Stevenson Construction to install a new Bosch Exhaust fan and filter unit above our in-built bar b que and to carry out some repair work / improvements to some built in wardrobes. We were very impressed with the professionalism of Glen and his team and very impressed with the quality of the outcome. We would have no hesitation in recommending Stevenson Construction to any prospective user of their services.

All aspects of our several experiences with Stevenson Constructions have been more than satisfactory. The workmanship and attention to detail of the completed work cannot be faulted. The Company's employees and external tradesmen exhibit high levels of competency, displaying initiative under Glen's direction for complex problems; and in our experience, they are each friendly and professional.

A few years ago, Glen and the team at Stevenson Construction managed and completed a full renovation of our home — including two bathrooms, the laundry, kitchen, outdoor retaining walls, a large shed, and much much more. We honestly couldn’t fault them then, and we still can’t today.

The whole team was a pleasure to work with. Communication was excellent, they were always respectful (especially since we were living in the house during the renovation), and nothing was ever too much trouble.

We had complete trust in them from start to finish, and they showed us exactly why they have such a great reputation. We would absolutely recommend Glen and his team to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality work.

We have worked with Stevenson Construction on multiple projects from a house renovation to upgrades on our cellar door both internally and externally.

We have been very happy with all work completed, Glen's attention to detail is second to none and honest to boot.

We look forward to working with Glen and the team for future projects.

I would highly recommend Glen for residential building works and renovations.

He is an extremely skilled craftsman and employs great trades on projects.

He’s reliable, trustworthy and always finishes all details, right to the end of each job.

Having worked with him on projects as an interior designer and also on my own renovation projects I wouldn’t hesitate to use him.

Glen and his team were a pleasure to deal with throughout the construction process at my neighbours property. They were courteous, efficient, and maintained a clean and well-organised site at all times. Communication was clear and consistent, and they showed great respect for my property during the works.

I also appreciated their fair and reasonable pricing when joint works were required. Overall, a highly professional team that I would confidently recommend.

I was approached by Glen from Stevenson Construction back in 2020 to manufacture and supply some gates for one of his local projects (I run our family metal fab business). From a suppliers point of view they were great to deal with. Always extremely helpful and whenever I needed information it was always followed up and prioritized. One thing that really stood out for me is that the Stevensons boys are always on the look out to help you. Always offering to help lift things into place and making sure you have everything you need on their sites. Nothing is too much to ask from them and after working with many different builders its extremely refreshing to work with such great people that not only care about the job but also care about their trades.

In 2021 my wife and I bought our first home together and had only been in a few months before the severe storms came through and caused a large gum tree to fall onto our house. Luckily my wife and I weren't injured but our roof had major damage to it and caused a lot of water issues due to the severe rain. I knew straight away who we would be engaging to help us get back into our house as quickly as possible whilst also ensuring the correct processes were followed and not compromising on finish. Glen's team were fantastic to deal with and everything was always thoroughly explained throughout the whole process. After Glen and his team repaired our roof they began helping us with our deck extension. My team and Glen's team got to collaborate on this project as it was a mix of both steel structure and timberwork. It ran extremely smooth, on time and within budget.

I highly recommend this company and I look forward to continue working with them in the years to come.

I have subcontracted for Stevenson Construction for several years now and have found only the highest quality workmanship and finishes on all projects by Glen and the team. Each job has been clean and efficiently managed by all team members who have always displayed professionalism and knowledge regarding all aspects of each project, both on site and from the office. I highly recommend Stevenson Construction for providing the highest standard of building from start to finish.

Glen and the team at Stevenson Construction built our house at San Remo, Victoria back in 2015. We love our house. It was originally a holiday home but has been our sole residence since 2020. We arranged a separate building designer to produce the plans for a two storey house on a sloping block. The maximum building height was restricted to 7m which necessitated split levels on both the ground and top floor. Overall we were happy with the design concept but Glen was able to suggest some improvements which made complete sense and we were very glad to receive Glen’s advice. An example was the orientation of our stairs. With the split levels, the original plan had the stairs going from the lowest level of the ground floor to the highest level on the top floor. Glen’s suggestion changed the orientation which minimised the number of treads and has made the house far more efficient. Our design plans lacked a lot of internal detail, it was something we just didn’t arrange. Glen was able to fill in the blanks. I love the herringbone pattern tiles in the kitchen and the spotted gum railing around the stair balustrade. They were both Glen’s suggestions which I’m grateful he made. He has an excellent eye for detail and is an extremely skilled tradesman that has created our home. I’m more than happy to recommend Stevenson Construction to others.

Great price As an electrical contractor, we have worked with Glen and his team at Stevenson Construction for over ten years. We have also worked with many other builders and I can honestly say that there are a limited amount of builders that care about the end product as much as Glen does. His attention to detail is absolutely incredible and I have never seen him cut a corner anywhere. Glen and the team live and breathe a culture that is “Do it right, no matter how hard it is”! It is why I have also engaged Glen for numerous projects at my own house over the years. If you are looking for a builder that cares about his clients and their home while not settling on quality and detail, Stevenson Construction is the right choice.
