Glen’s story
Glen Stevenson spent 16 years on the tools before he registered this company in 2014. He came up through carpentry, then site management, on everything from small bathroom jobs to large architectural builds long enough on other people’s sites to know exactly what he wanted to do differently.
What he wanted was simple. Fewer jobs at once. A fixed price agreed before the work starts. The same faces on site from the first day to the last. Most of what goes wrong on a build is decided before anyone turns up in the pricing, the program, and who is actually answering the phone.
Twelve years on it is still a family business, and I meet every client myself and I stay in charge of your build until the keys are handed over. We build because a well made house changes how a family lives in it. We would rather be known for the way we build than for how much of it we do.

Our mission
We take on a small number of renovations, extensions and new homes each year across the Yarra Ranges and Bayside Melbourne. Every job gets a fixed contract price, a dated program, and one team with you from the first call through handover and our 12 month return visit.

Melanie Stevenson
Financial Oversight
Melanie brings her expertise as a Certified Practicing Accountant to oversee the financial health and compliance of Stevenson Construction on a part-time basis.
She balances this role with her primary position at Giffard Sim Accountants and the not-so-small task of managing family life with Glen and their four children. Her steady guidance keeps our finances secure and our operations compliant.
Cherry Ledesma
Office Administrator & Accounts
Cherry works diligently behind the scenes, managing our project data and administration with precision.
Her role in accounts and documentation ensures our systems run efficiently and accurately. Cherry’s contribution has been invaluable to the smooth operation of Stevenson Construction.
